Leadership Teams
No Church can exist without a committed Leadership Team. Springline Parish is very blessed to have an excellent Leadership Team who generously serve the Church in a variety of ways.
Church leadership is different from simple management or administration. Church leadership is servant leadership based on the example, model and teaching of Jesus Christ who said that he came to serve and not to be served.
Not only that, in order to teach us further he washed the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper before his Passion, Death and Resurrection. And he said: “You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master’, and rightly so, for indeed I am. If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do.” (John 13. 13-15)
So, we here at Springline try our best to practice servant leadership in the footsteps of Jesus also remembering his words, “Whatsoever you do to the least of these my brothers and sisters, you do so to me.” (Matthew 25.40)
The Springline Parish has four leadership teams that serve the Parish. You might like to click on the tab “Ministry Team – Parochial Church Council – Standing Committee – Village Church Council (VCC)” for more information.

The Springline Parish has four leadership teams that serve the Parish. They are the following:
The Ministry Team plans and oversees the various ministries offered in the Parish both in church as well as outside the church. Their role is pastoral and spiritual. They organise the rotas of various Church services, plans special services like the Healing, Bereavement, Taize, Songs of Praise, Harvest and other services. They also preside and preach at services in church and assists in religious education in schools.
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the main administrative body of the Parish. The PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the Incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. Our vision is “Nine Churches, One Parish, Following Jesus.”
The Standing Committee carries out business between PCC meetings. There is also a Ministry Team that meets every month.
The Village Church Council (VCC) is the local leadership in the village comprising of the Churchwardens, the Secretary, the Treasurer and members. The VCC is not a legal body like the PCC but has responsibility with the Incumbent and the PCC to administer the serve the local village Church and community.
